PEITN is the only organization on Epekwitk dedicated to Two-Spirit, trans, gender diverse and non-binary+ Islanders. Our community navigation, advocacy, and inclusive celebrations like Trans Awareness Week and Break the Cis-tem all depend on PEITN having the staff, space and stability to keep showing up. Your donation sustains the PEI Transgender Network itself: our staff, our office, our programs and events, and the advocacy that changes policy for trans Islanders. Donations also fund direct support for community members, such as name and gender marker changes, gender-affirming items, and uncovered health care travel. Both matter, and both depend on PEITN being here.

Volunteer
The PEI Transgender Network is run by one full time position of Executive Director, as well as a tenacious and dedicated volunteer Board of Directors. Our board is supported by committees with increasing, non-affiliated community engagement. PEITN is a non-profit, not a registered charity, so we while we cannot issue tax receipts, you know your gift goes straight into supporting the community.

Change of Name: $185+$25 for new birth certificate
Change of Gender Designation: $25+$25 for new birth certificate
Chest binder: $50-$80
Gaff: $30-$50
Packer/STP: $20-$800
Breast form: $60-$600
Associated Pre and Post Surgical Costs NOT covered by provincial health insurance: $1000-$2500 +
