PEITN is proud to announce the launch of our third community anthology, “in these times”. The book will be officially launched on Friday, November 13, 2026 from 7-9pm at Beaconsfield Carriage House in Charlottetown. Doors open at 6:30pm. No registration is required and seating is limited. First come, first seated. Books will be available for purchase at $25 and are free for members of the trans+ community.

In this third community anthology by PEI Transgender Network, 42 trans+ creators on Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island) share their written and visual artworks. The title “in these times” represents the vastness of the contributions inside the book-the pain, the heartache, the challenges of living as trans and gender diverse people in 2026, AND the joy, the play, the connection, the hope, the love, the care, and the necessity of us being here, right now.

This book is about us living and creating through hard times. It is about trans joy and expression as resistance, and kindness as rebellion; it is about us, in these times.
